The hospital has all the basic specialities such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, E.N.T., Obstcrtics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, etc. In addition to the overall infrastructural facilities for broad specialities, the hospital offers the services of super specialities like Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuro-Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Diabetology, Assisted Reproduction Centre etc.

Operation Theatres

The main operation theatre complex contains nine theatres (an additional eight are planned) with an elaborate built-in system for graded clean zones ensuring asepsis and sterility. The OT complex incorporates concepts hitherto found only in textbooks of hospital planning, including a one-way flow of traffic, separate clean, super-clean and dirty corridors and features that delight the surgeon and provide better care to the patient.

General purpose theatres have 5-micron air filters while the high technology theatres have 2-micron filters and motorized, state of the art electronically controlled operating tables and matching overhead operating lamps. The sophisticated air-conditioning and ventilation system ensures at least 30 total air changes per hour in each OT. The theatre design and functioning has attracted much attention from surgeons and hospital planners all over and is bound to become a model for OT complexes of the future.

Hospital Wards

In-patient areas are scientifically classified on the basis of progressive patient care and economic consideration into ,

a) General wards for weaker sections of society,
b) Twin sharing self-contained semi-private rooms,
c) Private rooms and
d) Deluxe suites.

These provide varying degrees of comfort and convenience without compromising on the quality of technical infrastructure and medical treatment. Space is also available for one attendant per patient in all wards.
